  Part of Southern Railway; manufactures a wide range of sophisticated electrical and electronic signalling equipment; products include Q series relays, push button single-line tokenless block instruments, universal axle counters, latch relays etc.
• Research, Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO)
  Research and design organisation of the Indian Railways, located at Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh); develops new technologies, new designs, inspects rolling stock, locomotives etc for the Indian Railways.
