More than 30 Foreign consultancy firms present in India

The following  foreign architect firms DP Architects of Singapore, Hellmuth Obata Kassabaum Inc (HOK) USA, RSP Architects Planners and Architects 61 Ltd , British architect Lord Norman Foster JV with Neptune group have entered India by providing consultancy to various Indian construction projects. Burthill Design (USA), a recognised global architectural design unit, opened its India unit in Ahmedabad recently  Laing O’Rourke, Davis Langdon and Mott MacDonald of UK,Arcop of Canada,Omiros One of Australia, Chelsea West  of USA with,Ansal API, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) of USA have designs on India.The foreign firms will continue to win projects here, but they will be hired for a limited purpose. They would design the master plans of the projects, while the execution part would continue to be taken care by the Indian firms.
